I had a Radical Prostatectomy in 2008 with success, and I was over it in6 months. regular PSA tests and in 2023 there were 2 spots discovered. I had Radiation therapy for 7 weeks, and so far my PSA is negative. PSA tests every 6 months
Hi . Glad to hear the PSA is undetectable. How are you doing with side effects? Hoping things are going well, but if you have any questions please feel free to ask. Best, Richard (Team Member)

Hi . Since you have been dealing with this a little while I'm not sure there will be new information, but I want to share this article from our editorial team on bowel problems as a side effect: https://prostatecancer.net/living-coping/bowel-problems. I also want to share this Q&A with our contributor Rebecca who is a pelvic floor therapist: https://prostatecancer.net/forums/urine-bowel-or-sex-questions-welcome. There is some information in there on dealing with incontinence. Hope there is something in these that can be useful. Best, Richard (Team Member)
