Prostate cancer

Looking to find opinion on herbal medicines as well as radiation therapy for prostate cancer. I had surgery to remove the prostate but had to stop midway through due to scarring tissue around my colon. The doctors felt that they could rupture it and put being a colonoscopy bag for life so they stopped midway through to removal of the prostate. They decided to try radiation therapy. I have an appointment Friday with a radiologist for that topic. I'm curious about herbal medicine such as soursop which I have been taking the last week and Essiac tea which I'm going to start taking in the next few days. I heard and read stories of these products actually stopping and reducing cancer to patients that only had a few months to live and are still here years later.

  1. - Thanks for reaching out. Just as a heads up here, we are not medical professionals so we can't give direct medical advice. That sounds a tough experience with your surgery underway only to be stopped. Ugh. How are you feeling about starting radiation? I haven't come across many here discussing soursop, otherwise I'd refer you to those discussions. I myself haven't seen much along those lines, but of course, would encourage you to chat with your doctor about those options. We do have some resources here that talk about complementary and alternative medicines. I can link that here for you to take a look over: https://prostatecancer.net/treatment/complementary-alternative-therapies
We've also got some content on the topic of radiation therapy if that might be helpful to look at prior to your appointment: https://prostatecancer.net/treatment/radiation-therapy
Please keep us updated on how things progress for you and how things go on Friday for you.

  2. These are not natural supplements but there are some members here and other cancer forums that are using Fenbendazole and Ivermectin protocol. Some are even adding Mebendazole to the cocktail for triple therapy. There is a lot of promising info about this on the internet if you search. Many say they get it online from India pharmacies.

    1. Hi . I do need to point out for everyone out there that, while there is some research happening, none of these drugs are currently FDA approved for any cancer treatment. Also, there are laws and regulation for importing unapproved drugs, even for personal use, that people should make themselves aware of. Best, Richard (Team Member)

  3. Agree and everyone has to make a decision based on their own situation. I only brought this up because it was posted elsewhere on this & other prostate cancer forums. I've only read good things about Fenbendazole and Ivermectin protocol. Personally I would only use these drugs as a last resort if no other treatment was available to me. As far as laws go with buying drugs online they go out the window if I was going to try something to keep me alive! There is a lot of "snake oil" being sold online to desperate men with prostate cancer so you have to be very careful and proceed with caution.

  4. Wanted to add that there is a US based pharmacy where you can buy Ivermectin, etc after a telehealth consultation with a licensed doctor. This is much safer than buying from a foreign country and completely legal.
